A gourmet pizzeria, another that works with local products… There is something new in the shops of Bourges

La Jokonde is a nod to Italy, with a K to “break the codes”, as displayed by this Mona Lisa revisited in street art on the colorful walls of the gourmet pizzeria created by Adrien González. Originally from the south, the chef trained with master pizza makers to make his homemade pizzas an art. This culinary enthusiast works with three different doughs, including one gluten-free. With their subtle and refined mixtures, these pizzas invite you on a gustatory journey that goes through the senses, including that of sharing. At lunchtime, starters and daily specials are also on the menu. Rue des Armuriers, the Jokonde has replaced the restaurant Au Petit Bouchon, but Michèle, who ran it before, is enjoying this new adventure by serving her good desserts in particular. The team is completed by Tino in the kitchen and Léa in the service.

5 Armourers Street. Such. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner except Tuesday evening. Sunday, pizzas only to take away.

Boulevard of the future

After having been manager of a pizzeria in Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) then in Nevers (Nièvre), Jérémy Chrestia, originally from Marseille, launched his own project. In April, the pizza maker opened La Pizz à papa. His little boy Lyano, 5 years old, with his spontaneity and his childish words, is at the origin of the name. Located on boulevard de l’Avenir next to the car wash, Pizz à papa offers homemade pizzas. “We work with fresh and local products, the dough is homemade and made on site”, details Jérémy Chrestia who wishes to “stand out”. It is possible to taste your pizza on site, in a small terrace area which will soon be extended, to take away or have it delivered, including via Uber eats.

La Pizz à papa, 199 boulevard de l’Avenir. Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Contact:
