A man fell from the stage when he thought he was a Kiss guitarist. He injured his collarbone and sprained his wrist.
A man was injured on Sunday evening during a show by the hypnotist Messmer organized at Espace Mayenne, in Laval, revealed France Bleu.
According to the radio, this “particularly receptive” spectator to hypnosis thought he was a guitarist for the rock group Kiss. It was by wanting to imitate the gestures of the rocker that he fell from the stage.
The individual, who is a professional musician, had not been warned of the safety instructions to be observed and crossed the white lines delimiting the scene. He was immediately taken care of by the firefighters while Messmer made “a few jokes” to lighten the atmosphere.
Broken collarbone and sprained wrist
The injured spectator suffered a broken left collarbone and a sprained right wrist. In convalescence for several weeks, he cannot work and “hopes to obtain financial compensation”, indicates France Bleu.
The production of Messmer’s show assures that this is the first time such an accident has occurred. “We take this very seriously and are in contact with the injured viewer,” said the production company’s press officer.
