Loulou’Pizza in the Croix-Haute district – midilibre.fr

A few weeks ago, a new pizzeria opened in the Croix-Haute district, not far from the Oasis snack bar located near the fountain.

Stephan Murat and his wife Élodie, both 31, had the idea, before the pandemic, of installing a food truck in this neighborhood. Not having had all the necessary authorizations, they decided to fit out their house and open a pizzeria on the ground floor.

Stéphan was a traveling mechanic, but after spending years helping his restaurateur parents on this same place, he changed his project and stayed in the restaurant line. Their pizzas are home-made, with fresh products purchased as locally as possible, based on grated mozzarella, tomato or cream sauce, with, among other things, five vegetarian pizzas, all based on their own tastes, and to take away.

They are parents of two children, Louna and Louka. It is their first names that inspired the name of the pizzeria, LouLou’Pizza.

Loulou’Pizza, 63, place du 4 Septembre-1949, Croix-Haute district. Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Info: 04 34 04 80 18 and Facebook: Loulou’Pizza.
