Mavenir’s Open vRAN Containerized Small Cell Solution Wins Award for Outstanding Contribution to Emerging Technology or Architecture

LONDON, May 27, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mavenir, the networking software provider building the future of networking, with cloud-native software that runs on any cloud, and transforming the way the world connects , today announced that it has won an award at the 2022 SCF Small Cell Awards for Outstanding Contribution to Emerging Technologies or Architectures, for its design and delivery of the first fully containerized Open Small Cell Virtualized Radio Access Network (Open vRAN) , for indoor and outdoor connectivity purposes.

Mavenir’s containerized Open vRAN solution is a first of its kind and combines the interoperability of Open RAN with the portability and flexibility of containers.
