At the beginning of the month, the whole of Canada was able to stuff their faces during La Pizza Week which took place from May 1 to 14, 2022. During this major culinary event, restaurants from east to west of the country concocted fabulous pizzas that amazed lovers of good pizza.
The competition being over, the best creations of the 2022 edition have been unveiled and here are the big winners of La Pizza Week 2022!
1st position of the public: Alt-O-Max of the Alto Restaurant in Montreal
This restaurant concocted a pizza with seasoned ground beef, onions, shredded lettuce, Alto MAX sauce and a mixture of Alto cheeses…no wonder it won the public’s grand prize!

2nd Audience Position: Netflix and Chili from Tommy’s Pizzeria in Winnipeg
This restaurant made a pizza with a Thai sweet chili base with a mix of gouda, mozzarella and provolone cheeses, pork, chicken, pineapple salsa and a crust with black sesame seeds… it makes you want to go to Manitoba just to taste it!
